There are many scenic spots in Wuhan worth visiting. 

Wuhan University, located in Hubei Province's capital Wuhan known as "The thoroughfare leading to nine provinces", has rolling physical features with the scenic Luojia Hill in it and the beautiful East Lake by its side, seeming in picturesque disorder. Its campus is wooded and green, and has fragrant flowers everywhere all the year round, the buildings are in special architectural styles, magnificent and mansion-looking. For the above reasons, Wuhan University is widely known as one of the most beautiful universities in China.

Wuhan East Lake Scenic Zone, or Wuhan Donghu Scenic Spot, is the biggest lake within city in China, the first group of nation-qualified scenic spots in China, and the first batch nation-qualified AAAA grade scenic spot. Wuhan East Lake Scenic Zone received the honor to be "National's Best Scenic and Tour Spot", which was awarded by the Central Civilization Construction Instruction Committee, the Construction Ministry of People's Republic of China and the China Tourism Bureau.
