Located beside the subway station of Gulou on Line 2, Gulou East Street is a great shopping stop for electronic game players, cartoon lovers and music fans. In Courtyard Dwellings at No. 255, Gulou East Street, there are windows of delicate engravings various shapes and designs beside the tasseled door. In the second courtyard there is a hexagonal pool of white marble, within which there is ornamental column fountain. In the north of the courtyard there are seven main rooms in which there are wood-carved covers standing on the ground, wooden shelves and fan-doors. The painted back wall is graced with brick engravings. On the wall in the backyard there are five stone statues. The brick engravings, stone inscriptions and interior decorations are very delicate and exquisite.
